While We Wait

By John Tamakloe

While We Wait

While we wait,
Can be Moments;
Full of Anxiety
But still,  We Must   Wait

While we wait
Can be moments
Of joy, as we anticipate;
But still, we must wait

While we wait,
Fear and uncertainty;
Paints a gloomy picture
But still, we must wait

While we wait
Self-examination,
Must be a constant activity
But still, we must wait

While we wait
Let’s repair all,
Damages we have caused;
But still, we must wait

While we wait
Each day counts ;
Be wise and discerning
But still, we must wait

While we wait
We know not when;
The trumpet shall sound,
But still, we must wait

While we wait,
Ask, have I
Wounded Any Soul?;
But still, we must wait

While we wait
May Love, Peace
Brotherly Kindness;
Bind us Together
