When all is said
And done is a concluding
Statement! It is a summary
Of all that has transpired.
If it were your life,
How will it read?
When all is said
And done, can Be
An ending with a sorrowful
Tale to tell, a sad reflection
Of how we’ve lived! Yes!
How will yours be read?
When all is said
And done, man goes back
To where he came
From, dust he was
And back to dust he returns
May Mother Earth
Rest gently on His /her body.
Till the resurrection!
When all is said
And done, yes all will
Be said and done
Yet the Earth remains
Life will continue
With or without you.
So why fret? Why hate?
What did you bring
And what will you take
With you?
Oh yes! When all
Is said and done
What remains is our
Appearance before
The Judge who knows and
Sees all things Who will judge righteously
And reward Every man according
To his/her deeds. So focus more
On how to please God
And not mortal Man!
When all is said
And done. Mourners, sympathisers, and empathizers
Will stay for a while
To eat, drink and dance
To close the chapter
And bring the curtain down
On your Earthly journey.
When all is said
And done you’ll be
Gone, your seat
Will be Empty! Your hate
Envy and jealousy will
Perish with you. So
Repent now before
It is too late!
A thought to share
A warning to give
A trumpet/alarm to blow
He who hath ears to
Hear let him/her do so!
