What Time Has Done To Me !

What time has done
To me, it has taken
Away  my youthful look
In place of which it
Made me look  old with wrinkles
For which I deeply regret!

I wished I never grow old! 

What time has done 
To me , it has taken away
My ignorance and replaced 
It with deep insight , discernment 

And  wisdom For which I am grateful !

What time has done 
To me; it has taken away 
Friends and loved ones I cherished 
Thus making me lonely 
And vulnerable. 

What time has done 
To me, it has taught me
To know that all that 
Glitters is not gold
So I should be circumspect !

What time has done 
To me, it has helped 
Me differentiate between 
True and fake friends , not
Everyone who smiles with me 
Is genuine and sincere!  
For this I am grateful

What time has done 
To me; it has taught me
To know my life here 
Is short / temporal 
So I must  Enjoy and
Make the best  out of
What remains !

What time has done 
To me , is more than 
I can tell , it still continues
To teach me more lessons!  
Each day presents me
With new , exciting and 
Challenging lessons.
It’s a wonder and amazement!

What time has done 
To me, it has helped me 
Forgive those who persecute 
And harmed me , just that 
It has not erased 
The evil they did to me ! Yes! Time 
Could not do that ! 
Time therefore has what 
It can and can not do !

What time has done 
To me, it has often reminded 
Me that unless I cooperate 
With it , I’ll be the loser 
Because it does not stop 
Nor wait for me!

Yes, time and tide 
Waits for no man. ! 
This is what time
Has done to me ! 
Which I openly share 
With you. He who have 
Ears to hear , eyes to see
Should take note.
