Everything about us both now and in the future hangs on the fact that Christ died and rose again.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>This is the central message of the Gospel; the resurrection of Jesus an act that gave hope to a hitherto hopeless world. The Cross and what took place on it cannot be wished away.&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>As the world observes the event, we must reflect on the significance of that day. It was not just an ordinary day, it was a significant one. It was the day the gates of Hades were shattered, blown into pieces to set free the unconquerable, the Mighty God, the one who holds the keys of life and death Jesus Christ, the Son of God.&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Always remember before this Day, death had terrorised all men. For all men feared death. Read it ;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Hebrews 2:14-15&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>NIV\u003C/p>\u003Cp>[14] Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death---that is, the devil---&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>[15] and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>(\u003Cstrong>15&nbsp;\u003C/strong>And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.) KJV\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>This is what is meant by the resurrection of Jesus. Death has no power or dominion over any sincere and genuine believer. All who trust wholeheartedly in Jesus have passed from death into life.&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Job proclaimed his faith in God when he said&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Job 19\u003C/p>\u003Cp>KJV\u003C/p>\u003Cp>25+ For I know that my redeemer liveth and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:\u003C/p>\u003Cp>26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:\u003C/p>\u003Cp>27+ Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>What a faith. What a declaration!&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>The Christian Faith hangs on the Cross and the resurrection if these are taken out nothing remains. This is what Paul meant when he said&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>1 Corinthians 15\u003C/p>\u003Cp>KJV\u003C/p>\u003Cp>17+ And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>This is true because it would look like we’ve been lied to that Christ is risen from the dead and by this, he took our sins away. In fact, none of these took place.&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Worst of all is that we who told you this are liars and have misled you.&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>1 Corinthians 15\u003C/p>\u003Cp>KJV\u003C/p>\u003Cp>14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>The resurrection, therefore, is true and is testified to by many.
