The President’s  SONA, Matters Arising: Just One Glimpse!

Revelation 21

KJV

4+ And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

I was watching the closing session of the President's State of the Nation address and what I saw drew my attention to the words of the song “When We All Get to Heaven “.

A line of  that hymn reads;

“ Let us then be true and faithful, trusting, serving ev'ry day. Just one glimpse of Him in glory will the toils of life repay.”

Yes, “ just one glimpse of him in glory will the toils of life repay “!

As I watched how many wanted to shake hands with the president I said to myself “ to us who are outside the political sphere, just one glimpse alone of Jesus not a handshake, will be enough for us”!

I asked myself if a handshake with the president satisfies, since many are eager to hold his hands; what will “just a glimpse of Jesus” from afar be to the believer in Heaven?

Just one glimpse not a handshake is all that we need when we get to Heaven! There will be no state of the nation address, but rather the rendering of personal individual accounts. What I call “ state of your life address” ( SOYLA)

There will be no “minority” or “majority” to express their biases based on their political persuasions in the face of the realities as was displayed!

Yes, here we have those who see nothing wrong with whatever we do (the majority), and those who see everything wrong with what we do ( minority)! There will be no such group/persons in heaven.

Personally, this knowledge has inspired and strengthened my resolve to do what I believe to be right, regardless.

Instead, there will be an opportunity given to everyone to present his/. her own “state of his/her life address”; the verdict will be delivered by God. There each shall receive a genuine handshake devoid of biases from God.

Prepare therefore for your SOYLA ( state of your life address ) which will be viewed by billions  telecasted live from the judgment throne of God, the spiritual parliament house.

Beloved look for and expect the genuine commendation and handshake expressed in these words ;

Matthew 25

KJV

21+ His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

If a handshake with a mere mortal can make some satisfied and happy, what will “ just one glimpse of Him ( Jesus ) in glory” do? Hmmmm!

My takeaway after watching the events of the closing session of the SONA! The clamour, the outstretched hands, the beams of smile and joy of satisfaction just for touching the hands of the president!

When an “ordinary mortal hand  “ suddenly becomes an  “extraordinary” one that men clamour to touch ; then what will that of Jesus be? I look forward to that of Jesus, just a pat on my shoulders will be enough!

Maranatha!
