Teach Yourself How To Walk In Wisdom
Colossians 4
KJV
5+ Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

To walk in wisdom is a walk no one needs to tell you to learn before you do it  It is one of the most important walks one must learn very early in life.

Evidence abounds regarding how those who failed to understand this walk have fared.

Many are living lives of regret because they failed to learn how to walk in wisdom very early in life.

You’ve heard some admittedly say “Had I known”. But you see, “  had I known” is always said when the harm has been done! Irreparable damage.

Some mistakes can not be corrected, we shall go to our graves with them. So quickly learn how to walk in wisdom to avoid such mistakes.

Seriously speaking we have all made some mistakes as a result of not walking in wisdom. I am one of them!  You are not alone.

To walk in wisdom is simply to take note and be careful in whatever you do, be careful with your dealings with people especially as stated in the verse “ them that are without”! ( and also those that are “within”)

To walk in wisdom requires paying attention to details and not taking anything or anyone for granted. Do not underestimate anyone or anything.

It also requires knowledge of people! So you must take time to both observe and study people and of course, do so with an open mind, not a biased/prejudiced one.

Do not just hear but listen to what you hear; there is a difference! All hear, but few listen. Be one of those who listen. This is wisdom.

Trust no one except God and yourself, though this may appear a harsh recommendation, experience has shown that “ the River you least respect is the river that which will drown you” (sic)  ( a Ga proverb )

To walk in wisdom is to “open and shine one’s eyes “. Pray but keep your eyes open. Watch and pray He taught us. He did not say “Close your eyes and pray”. No one who walks in wisdom closes his mind’s eyes!

Be wise!
