Recommended Virtues: The Dilemmas of Life, My Observations!

Psalms 118

KJV

8+ It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Psalms 40

KJV

4+ Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Psalms 62

KJV

8+ Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

Psalms 146

KJV

3+ Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

As I advance in years, experience continues to confirm scriptures and explains my shortcomings which were the outcome of my naivety.

I discovered that of all the virtues of life, three stand out, which, when observed, will set a man above reproach; these I’ve listed below. I pray they help you navigate your way through life!

They are written in a simplistic form to help easy understanding

Patience

To be Patient means to wait , what makes it difficult to practice is “ who are you waiting on, God or Man?”

It is easier waiting on God than Man!

Trust

To Trust is to believe completely without a doubt , what makes it difficult to practice is “ who are you trusting, God or Man?”

It is easier to trust God than Man!

Love

To love is to open oneself, be “naked” before someone, the difficulty is “ before whom are you undressing yourself?”

It is easier to love God , than Man!

These I discovered are the most basic of all challenges in life. If one can master them, ( patience, Trust and love) then one would be without any regrets in life

But as it is, no one has yet obtained a 100% pass mark, so we have regrets, but keep striving!

A word to anyone with an inquiring mind.
