[46] When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.\u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>I’ve always enjoyed reading this particular parable as it resonates with my journey to becoming a Christian! \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>I’ve always been on the lookout for whatever is good and of higher value and quality in life! Religiously, I’ve been part of almost everything, having listened to and been a part of the mainline  faiths. \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>Here is how I became a product of circumstance ; I befriended someone who was very pious and religious. Our friendship was just an ordinary one but with respect to each other. We both had curious and inquiring minds, In the process, I discovered the truth about Christ and His church!  \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>And for the joy that this brought me I denounced all my previous religious beliefs to cleave unto Christ and His church. An act I’ve not regretted as it is what has brought me to where I am today. \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>Beloved, every man is a product of a circumstance, we are who or what we are because of a circumstance! For example, Joseph was a product of a circumstance, he was wrongly accused, put in jail only to come out to become a prime minister. \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>Another is Moses, he was a product of circumstance, he was chased out of the city into the desert to tend sheep because he was disowned by his people! It was there that he had his call to service which made him a leader of great repute. \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>A poor unemployed graduate was hungry and went to a “chop bar” not restaurant  to eat with his last “coins”, and in a conversation with a stranger got himself a job that ended up making him the general manager of a firm. \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>Another was wrongly accused and so was dismissed from his job, sitting at home doing nothing he decided to register and study; this earned him a skill that was in demand. \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>The examples are many, even you where you stand today is a result of a circumstance! Yes, every man is a product of circumstances, unfortunately unpleasant circumstances\u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>And you know something, this is how God directs our destinies. Joseph was destined to be great but he had to go to prison first. Moses was destined to be great but had to be rejected and flee to the desert. \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>Pause and reflect on the lives of great men and women, one thing that runs through their lives’ journeys is that they are beneficiaries of circumstances mostly unpleasant! \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>So what circumstances are you going through today?
