An interesting thing happened today that I believe confirms what the above scriptures say to us.
I had come out from a church service this morning and was getting ready to move away; a brother engaged me in a brief chat and while doing so a young girl of twelve; walked to me asking to talk to me!
I therefore excused the brother so I could listen to this little girl. Read what she said” I have been reading your articles and do share them with friends at school, now that you are leaving us I’d like you to continue posting so I can benefit from them and share them with my friends “
I was dumbfounded, with a deep surprise in my eyes! I asked myself how such a little girl like this showed a keen interest in what I write and post.
She told me how beneficial they are to her! I instantly hugged and encouraged her to continue reading and assured her I’d not stop posting to whichever platform she reads them.
She mentioned my poems, and how they sound rhythmic and easy to understand; tears welled up in my eyes. Indeed out of the mouth of babes, God has ordained His glory.
What some adults delete, ignore, refuse to read, regard as useless, unnecessary etc is rather a material of worth and importance to a little child.
Yes, many are called but few shall be saved. Many are invited but only a few shall respond! Many see these articles but only a few read them. My heart was made glad by this little girl’s appreciation and appeal to me.
Oh God, Thy Word is true.!
