Oh Memories: In Defence Of Ignorance!
(Part 1)

Lamentations 3
KJV
21+ This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

Today was declared a national holiday because an idle mind, Hands etc becomes an easy tool for the devil I decided to sort out and dispose of items from my cluttered archives. I must confess it was not an easy task!

(As I write this post I have only taken a break to rest my mind! )

I took time to look through every item, books, notes, pieces of footnotes written ideas and thoughts that I wrote down many years ago at various events and at different places!

Some had names with the events attached ( I saw your name listed in a few! Hmm!)

Oh, it was time-consuming indeed, so much so that I said to myself “ I wish I had never gone to school”!

Yes! Ignorance truly is bliss. A great truth that I learnt which is not shared by the majority is this; to be happy in life be ignorant! Yes!

As the Gas’ will say “ tô nû èfò ?; tô yô eèfô? “ to which the answer is simply yes. Ask any Ga to interpret this for you !🤣

Now I can understand why Festus the Governor said Paul was mad! Read it;
Acts 26:24
NIV
[24] At this point, Festus interrupted Paul's defense. “You are out of your mind, Paul!” he shouted. “Your great learning is driving you insane.”

Let your mind and brain be dormant, let others ( educated ) think for you and follow whatever they say! Thinking is and can be very tiresome so let others do it for you.

To be honest with you, knowledge is not power as is often touted ; but also a curse! A truth that nobody tells you, until you find it out yourself, the hard way!

Did scripture not say this?
Luke 12
KJV
48+ But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Did you read it? The “ignorant” will receive lesser punishment than the enlightened! So why be enlightened to your peril? Also, read what Uncle Solo said!

Ecclesiastes 7:16
NIV
[16] Do not be over righteous, neither be over-wise---why destroy yourself?

Do you see what I mean? Ignorance is bliss!
