Not My Will

By John Tamakloe

Not my Will

But thine, Oh Lord

When at the Crossroads

Of My life, Let it always be

Thy Will, not Mine!

Not my Will

But Thine, oh Lord

When trials and Temptations

Beset me, and I must drink

Of the Cup, let Thine

Will be Done

Not my Will

But Thine, Oh Lord

If all Men Give up on Me ;

You Alone is my Rock

Let Thy Will, And Not mine

Be Done

Not my Will

But Thine, Oh Lord

My Desires, and Wishes

I submit To Thee

That Thy perfect Will

Alone may Have its way

Not my Will

But Thine, oh Lord

Help me Appreciate

The good Thoughts, and

Plans You have to Prosper Me

Not my Will

But Thine, Oh Lord!

I resign My All, So

Your perfect Will may

Manifest itself To Thy Glory

Father, Let this Cup truly

Pass over Me, but if I must

Drink of It, so be It

May Your Perfect Will

Be Done, To Thy Honor’!
