Live, So As Not To Regret

By John Tamakloe

Live, So As Not To Regret

Matthew 8
KJV
12+ But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

This is a very strange statement made by the Lord, which should serve as a warning to every believer. That the “ children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness” is an undeniable truth that should not be taken for granted.

We who believe and have been baptized into Christ are the children of the kingdom He is referring to;   there is no guarantee that we shall be spared if we live reckless unrepentant lives.

This truth runs through many verses just that many are not observant.

Read this,

Mark 16
KJV
16+ He that believeth and is baptized **shall be saved**; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

“Shall be saved” is not the same as “is saved “. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved is not the same as “ he that believeth and is baptized is saved”.

Paul also echoed the same when he said

Romans 10
KJV
13+ For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The possibility of one losing his salvation is forcefully affirmed by Paul,

Read it;

1 Corinthians 10
KJV
12+ Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

The Apostle John added to this when he said;

2 John 1:8
NIV
[8] Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.

So you see, live so as not to regret in the end, the expression “ weeping and gnashing Of teeth “ is summed up in one word; regret”.

Beloved, let us walk wisely paying attention and giving heed to the warnings, pieces of advice, guidances etc;  that are spoken or written which we hear or read daily.

Nothing is more painful than to be disappointed in Heaven, which is possible when your name is not found  in the Book of Life. Please note, not a local church attendance or membership register!

This document is not admissible in heaven; it is necessary and valuable here for local membership administrative purposes! When the last member dies, that register is closed and will be left here. You may have your name in it but not in that which is in Heaven Please note the difference.

 Read it ;

Revelation 20:12, 15
NIV
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

[15] Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire

.

Maranatha!
