He That Keepeth His Tongue Keepeth His Life!
Proverbs 13
KJV
3+ He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
Proverbs 21
KJV

These are eternal, time-tested instructions that many hear but few keep. To be able to follow and observe these instructions, one must first be a disciplined person, which is very difficult to the majority.
I must admit it is not easy to observe, especially when you know something needs to be said. This brings us to another virtue a disciplined person must acquire -discernment! Knowing when to say what, discerning the time, situation and place!
The wise man knew this through experience hence he cautioned against indiscriminate loose talking etc; read it;
Ecclesiastes 3:7
NIV
—-a time to be silent and a time to speak,
Know when, where, and what to say and to whom! Indiscriminate, misguided, dissemination of information has landed many in trouble so be wise!
Yes,
Proverbs 21:23
NIV
Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity.
A thought to share, always remember we speak wisdom among the mature and not novices. Be economical with what you say and to whom!
Avoid the temptation to lace or spice truth with lies; something many do or have done to their shame and disgrace!
Think about these!
