Have You Thought Of This?

Romans 9

29+ And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.

Destruction and the end of a generation are what the writer intended to draw attention to with these words. Had God not left us with one righteous man all of us would have perished.

The world has changed dramatically and had our forebears not left us with legacies we would have been poorer than we are today. The foresight, vision and forward-looking mindset of our forebears has cushioned us indeed 

Look at the schools, the road networks, the hydro dam, the factories etc that were built which brought relief and advanced the cause of humanity. Post-independence foundations that were laid are what we are enjoying today. 

Yes, had these men of old not stood up in their time what would have been our lot today? Had God not raised for us such men and women we would have been like “economic and social Sodom and Gomorrah!”

Think about these ! Visionary leadership is what the world needs, be it in the spiritual or secular realm of affairs. 

Indeed, now praise we great and famous men!
