All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>Yes,  tears were an inconvenience to the psalmist , but  do you know that tears help our eyes to stay fresh and healthy? Yes! Whatever God does is perfect and useful if only we are taught or made to know. \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>Tears are a natural tool that God attached to the eye and they help lubricate it  so they serve us in seeing clearly! \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>A few years ago I had vision challenges and had to see an ophthalmologist to examine my eyes. It was then that he detected that there was a tear deficiency, my eyes are dry hence the challenges I was going through. My eyes don’t blink well enough to produce tear water! \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>My eyes were not producing enough tears hence they are dry! I was told every blink of the eye produces a liquid that lubricates the eye! And because mine were not having adequate natural lubrication he prescribed a medication. “Tears Natural”\u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>So much of my experience, what is the essence of this note you may ask; simple to let you know that tears contribute a lot to our vision as humans. \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>So, if you see someone crying do not tell him /her to stop crying! Allow him/her to cry because the tears help clean and lubricate the eyes   The more tears he/she sheds, the better lubrication the eyes receive and the better. \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>Yes! This is why God allows unpleasant things to come our way so we cry and shed tears. \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>Ever since I learnt this I’ve never asked anyone crying to stop because I know the benefits of crying! At funerals I’ve always restrained myself , from telling the bereaved not to cry. \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>So whether tears of Joy or tears of sorrow; let them flow it’s God’s way of keeping your eyes healthy! \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>Ophthalmologists should have told us this but they are not theologians to know the why and how of God’s creation! \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>I credit and now understand my late mother Agnes Dede Kwawu, for telling.me “ tears don’t kill, so I should cry she doesn’t give a hoot!” Now I know! \u003C/p>\u003Cp> \u003C/p>\u003Cp>So beloved, know the bible, yes but also acquire secular scientific knowledge/wisdom so you can fully appreciate and understand the mysteries of Creation!
