Be thankful
Was once a forceful
Directive we were
Made to obey as children
Little did we know its benefits
Be thankful
Is a gentle reminder
We receive from adults
When we came of age.
We do it because it is
The wisest, and civilised
Thing to do. Keep it!
Be thankful
Is not only a human directive
But also a Divine!
Which demands obedience;
Because it opens the
Divine doors, allowing Divine
Blessings to flow. The
Opposite closes these doors!
Be thankful
Is not limited to
Only the good, but
Also the unpleasant
Things that come our way.
Difficult as it may be;
Yet it is a command!
So, let your life
Be one of thanksgiving
Accept and live with
Every situation and
Condition! For God alone
Knows what is best for you!
It’s a challenge; learn
And live with it.
