As we age
Life’s passions, goals
And desires change;
Take note and adjust
As we age,
Dreams fade
Realities confront Us,
Accept what comes
Your way! Life is not
A contest or competition !
As we age,
We must take Stock
On a regular basis
Since reckoning
Days draw near!
As we age
Greater part
Of the journey has
Been covered
What remains is little!
So, slow down !
As we age,
Let us acknowledge
And be thankful
For how far God
Has brought Us.
