A Season Of Concern

By John Tamakloe

A Season of concern

Is how the Times

We live In can be Described

The Winds blowing

They are strong, uprooting

Trees both young and Old

The Forest is becoming

Depleted, Old Trees are Falling!

A Season Of Concern,

Indeed, who can tell

When and Where;

The next Wind will

Fall, the Times call

For vigilance And Alertness

Ground your Faith deeply

A Season Of Concern,

Hurricane Death, Is

Blowing across the Land

Uprooting, overthrowing

Everything in its path

Everyone is running

Helter Skelter! Fear

Has gripped the Land

A Season Of Concern

Disappointment is written

On every face, Tears like

River flows ceaselessly

The dam is broken, Where

Is the Deliverer, Who will

Put back smiles on sad faces?

A Season Of Concern

Has arrived, the Angel Of

Death  is knocking on

Every Door! Hoist the Banner

Of faith, paint the Doorpost

With the Blood of the Lamb

And it shall be “ When I see

The Blood I’ll Pass Over You”

Yes, a Season Of Concern

Is Here, But with Christ

In The Boat, we shall

Smile At the storm

Because we are Marked

With the Precious Blood

Of the Lamb   Yes when I

See the Blood I’ll pass over
